Ann Warshaw Copeland
Ann Warshaw Copeland leads the Tidewater Jewish community by example, inspiring peers and young leaders alike to engage in meaningful service and tikkun olam. Her involvement in varied Jewish boards and committees reflects a lifetime of working on behalf of the “things that matter.” Her priorities include women’s philanthropy and empowerment, an unwavering love for Israel, and our collective responsibility for world Jewry.
A Zahav Lion of Judah, Ann was among the earliest United Jewish Federation of Tidewater (UJFT) Women’s Cabinet members. She was also among the very first Lions to endow her gift, serving as the UJFT’s first LOJE chair. An outstanding fundraiser, she has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Federation.
A well-respected and beloved leader in the Tidewater Jewish community, Ann has long been a role model for her family, friends, and for generations of emerging female leaders. Through her every action, she embodies the spirit of the Lion of Judah, using her grace and influence to bring good in the world. She gives unequivocal support for the volunteer work of her husband Bobby as well as her children and now grandchildren.
