San Diego
My Lion journey began in Toronto after being invited to a LOJ luncheon in 1998. Surrounded by women united by leadership, philanthropy, and supporting Jewish life, I knew this was something I wanted to be part of. With young children at the time, my involvement was limited to donating and volunteering.
Years later, moving to San Diego marked the beginning of my Jewish leadership journey: different city, new sisterhood, same values. That’s when I went from “donor” to “doer.”
Serving on the WPB and as Chair deepened my commitment to strengthening Jewish life across San Diego and in our Israeli sister city, Sha’ar HaNegev. It also allowed me to witness the impact of women working together to build an inclusive community.
As a LOJE, my journey continues, ensuring that tzedakah and l’dor v’dor remain vibrant for generations. I’m inspired to keep leading with heart and passion for years to come.
