My first Lion of Judah pin was passed down to me by mother-in-love when I was a young mother. When I was able to do so, I began to invest in the future of the Jewish people and make my own gift. The Lion of Judah pin reflects dor v’dor, a commitment passed from one generation to the next. It symbolizes Jewish continuity and my enduring commitment to strengthening the Jewish community. By wearing it, it affirms my personal commitment to that support; it is now MY responsibility.
