Our family has always been motivated by L’Dor V’Dor — from generation to generation — and being a Lion has been such an important part of my life. My late mother, Sylvia Price, and I chaired the L’Dor V’Dor luncheon in 2001, and up until that point we had shared a pin. At that luncheon, my mother surprised me with my very own pin, a moment I’ll never forget, and one I still carry with me every time I wear it proudly today.
 
In 1996, I attended a Cabinet Retreat and, at the time, you didn’t already have to be giving at the Lion level to attend. But I was so moved and inspired by what I heard and experienced that I came home and immediately made my pledge at that level.
 
Today, I am especially proud to be a Lion together with my daughter, who is now following in my footsteps. That truly is L’Dor V’Dor. To be able to share something so meaningful with her makes it even more special and deeply personal to me.
