Over 30 years ago, at my first National Young Leadership Cabinet conference, I sat among remarkable women from across the country. Watching them drive real change in their communities inspired me deeply, igniting my own path as a leader.

Decades later, my wife and I created a Lion of Judah endowment fund named "Women Who Get Stuff Done." That phrase captures what the Lion pin has always meant to me.

It isn't just a symbol of past giving or a quiet badge of honor. It represents unapologetic action, collective power, and an enduring legacy. It connects the trailblazing women who inspired me decades ago like my mother in law Rhoda Sapers z”l and mother Sheila at 91 to the future leaders we are empowering today. To wear the Lion pin is to promise that we won't sit on the sidelines, we will roll up our sleeves, invest in our community, and continuously get things done.
