My Lion commitment adds tremendous joy and meaning to my life. It started with a single new friendship when we moved to Miami over 30 years ago, continuing to grow with extraordinary women who level up in leadership and in every other way, nonstop. Moreover, my personal relationship with Norma Kipnis Wilson has had a profound impact on how I a career of pursue professional volunteerism. Her strength and resilience resonate in overcoming community and personal challenges. It is often Norma’s guiding voice in my head, especially as when I wear my Lion pins daily, a beautiful reminder of our connection. She gifted me a textile pocket trimmed from a priestly robe that has a unique history and serves as a constant symbol of her enduring legacy. The pocket is a most cherished treasure proudly framed on my wall. These are all blessings that carry me forward and propel me also to pay it forward.
