Talia Eilat
Israeli Paralympian
Talia is a two-time European Championship bronze medalist in the 200m Paracanoe (2023 & 2024). In 2024, she made her Paralympic debut in Paris, becoming the first Israeli athlete to reach the finals in this event, placing 6th in the world.
Talia was a gifted dancer until 2016, when at the age of 18, she suffered a spontaneous spinal cord bleed that left her paralyzed from the waist down. Her transition to life in a wheelchair was met with a mental and physical resolve to defy her limitations. Talia’s determination to redefine the possible through hard work and intensive neurological rehabilitation has allowed her to surpass physical expectations. She channeled her grace and athleticism onto a new platform, rowing. Her strength, resilience, and pride encourages others to share in her motto: “Loving life, again.”
Talia is a proud Israeli who now dances on the water and is endeavoring to secure a place on the podium at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. Moreover, she is committed to inspiring others to find joy and fulfillment after life-changing events
