Linda Selig

Linda Selig

Founder, White Rose Society

Linda has been actively involved in a wide variety of Jewish organizations for many decades.  After chairing the Women’s Division for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, she was the first woman to serve as Atlanta’s General Campaign Chair and went on to become Board President in 2004.  Linda was recognized with the 2023 Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland award in 2022.  She is currently a member of the National Board of Governors of the American Jewish Committee and a long time board member of Hillels of Georgia.  Past service includes the boards of The Temple, the Weber School and the Davis Academy.

In the wake of the horrific events of October 7, 2023 and the outbreak of virulent global antisemitism that followed, Linda founded The White Rose Society.  In partnership with leaders of synagogues, foundations, non-profits, and community activists, Linda leads the national grassroots effort to show gratitude and appreciation to non-Jewish allies who courageously use their voices and platforms to support Israel and the Jewish people.

Additionally, Linda is Co-Founder of Better Together, a group of Christian and Jewish women who are working to strengthen ties between our two faiths.

Her husband, Steve, has been a leader in both JFGA and JFNA for many years, serving for two years as National Campaign Chair for JFNA.  Her daughter Stacey is the current Campaign Chair of JFGA.  Linda and Steve are proud parents of 5 children and 14 grandchildren.
