Fay Sheppard has been actively employed in the world of Finance for more than 25 years. She was a Vice President for the Connecticut Bank and Trust Co. and Manager of New Haven Corporate of the New New England Bank & Trust Co. At Fleet Bank she managed the Health Care and Non-for-Profit area. She is currently a Managing Director - Investment Officer for Wells Fargo Advisors and was named as one of the Platinum Council recipients in 2021.The Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor) distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on the past year, and professionalism. Additional criteria, best practices and team structure, may also be used to determine recipients.

In the New Haven office she has developed a series of programs for both individuals and business. She is known for her successful series entitled Women in Focus: Smart Women and Money. Her clients include individuals, businesses, and Non-for-Profits. Fay holds a Series 7, Series 63 and 65 registrations, as well as Life, Accident, Health and Annuity Licenses. She is a graduate of Merrimack College's Program for Certified Financial Planners. She is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselorâ„ . Fay received a dual Bachelor degree from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Science in Personnel Management from Syracuse University, and a Master of Science degree in Public Accounting from the University of Hartford.

Sheppard is a child of Holocaust survivors. She has been active in the New Haven Jewish community for many years and is a Ruby Lion of Judah. She was also the first woman to be hired by a major Connecticut bank.
