Lauren Steinberg

Managing Director, Education Initiatives and Civic Engagement, Jewish Federations of North America

Lauren Steinberg serves as Managing Director, Civic Engagement and Strategic Initiatives for the Jewish Federation of North America’s Community Relations team.

In this role she works to combat antisemitism and ensure positive portrayals of Jews, Judaism, Israel and Zionism in educational spaces, both K-12 and campus, build national and local relationships and coalitions, and support Federations’ broader community relations strategies. Lauren previously worked on campus as director of the JLIC program in partnership with the Orthodox Union and Hillel at Yale University. She served as director of the Stamford, New Canaan and Darien CT JCRC, and worked for the Anti-Defamation League in its Center on Extremism and New York Regional Office.
