Marcella focuses on creating meaning and value every day through her diverse family enterprise – which is anchored by GOJO, inventor of PURELL® brand Hand Sanitizer, and includes a portfolio of other investments and two philanthropic foundations.

Marcella is Executive Chair of GOJO, representing the third generation of family leadership of this global leader in skin and surface hygiene solutions. She is also Executive Chair and Founding Partner of Walnut Ridge Family Office, and serves on the boards of Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah and Lippman Kanfer Family Foundation. Marcella also serves on other for-profit and nonprofit boards, including Case Western Reserve University’s Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, which advances the scholarship and practice of flourishing enterprise. Marcella actively engages in nurturing vibrant Jewish life in her local communities, in large measure through board service of UJA/Federation of NY, UJA Brooklyn Advisory, The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life, Hannah Senesh Community Day School, and Romemu Brooklyn. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Princeton University’s School of Public & International Affairs. Marcella, along with her husband, three sons and daughter, resides in Brooklyn, NY, with outposts in Akron, OH, and Chautauqua, NY. She’s also the proud daughter of Joe Kanfer who has served the national Jewish community in a variety of capacities, including as chair of Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) from 2006-2009.
