Inna Vdovychenko
Member of JDC Ukraine Crisis Team, JDC
A member of JDC's senior management team in Ukraine, Inna Vdovychenko has spent the last two-plus decades working on behalf of the Jewish Community of Odesa and serves as one of the organization’s main spokespersons about its work in Ukraine while managing a team of content, marketing, and communications professionals throughout the country.
During the current conflict, Inna has played a critical role in informing the Jewish world, visiting media and foreign dignitaries, and the wider public about the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, its impact on the local Jewish community, and JDC's round-the-clock efforts. Since February 2022, Inna and her team have been on the frontlines providing life-saving aid, comfort, and connection to Jewish life and community to those who remain in the country – and to those who have fled abroad – through JDC-supported Hesed social service centers, JCCs, and homecare volunteers who tend to needy, elderly, and poor Jews.
Inna holds two master’s degrees, one in Education from Rutgers University and one in Linguistics (English and Spanish languages) from the Gorlovka State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, a local Ukrainian university.
