CEO, Israel Trauma Coalition

Talia Levanon holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in clinical social work from Bar Ilan University, a degree in integrative psychotherapy from Hebrew University, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Bar Ilan University.

Since 2001, Talia Levanon has served as the CEO of the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC). This coalition is a collaborative network of over fifty organizations dedicated to providing a comprehensive continuum of trauma care and preparedness. The ITC represents a complex partnership involving various government ministries and agencies from multiple sectors.

As CEO, Talia has been instrumental in the development and implementation of innovative models, such as resilience centers and regional training centers. She has facilitated collaboration between government ministries and the Home Front Command to establish a unified approach to emergency preparedness and response both nationally and internationally.

With over 40 years of experience, Talia has actively contributed to numerous national and international projects focused on enhancing emergency preparedness and community resilience. Her expertise has been sought in global post-disaster response efforts including the United States, France, and Ukraine.

Talia was born in Switzerland and raised in Nigeria.

She lives in Motza near Jerusalem with her husband Erez. They have four daughters.
