For the past 20 years, Yonit Levi is the anchor of Israel’s top primetime news program on Channel 12, Israel’s most popular television station. After starting in 2003 as the program’s co-anchor, she made Israeli television history in 2007 when she was named its sole news anchor – the first woman in Israel to hold this position. 

Throughout her career she has conducted interviews with a who’s who of world leaders, including President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama (who called her a “groundbreaking anchor”), President George W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, Secretary Antony Blinken, Secretary Mike Pompeo, Secretary Hillary Clinton, Ambassador Nikki Haley, as well as international icons such as Bill Gates, Lin-Manuel Miranda and comedians Jon Stewart and Conan O’Brien.

In 2021 Levi also started a weekly podcast - UNHOLY: Two Jews on the news, with Jonathan Freedland of the Guardian. The podcast discusses world affairs from a Jewish angle, and from its inception, listeners from over 120 countries have tuned in
