Shari Ungerleider is jcreen's Education and Outreach Manager. Shari founded the Evan Lee Ungerleider Foundation when her son was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs disease. As a result of Evan’s illness, Shari became an advocate for carrier screening and genetic counseling, turning her family's tragedy into a mission to spare others from similar suffering.
