Rabbi Deborah Newbrun
Founder/Director, Divorce & Discovery New Visions for Jewish Healing
Deborah Newbrun’s career as a Jewish leader spans 40 years including, 24 years as the Director of Camp Tawonga. She is the co authoring the groundbreaking book Spirit In Nature/Teaching Judaism and Ecology on the Trail.
She received the 2018 prestigious Covenant Award for her work in Jewish education.
Deborah is the founder/director of a new nonprofit, Divorce & Discovery: New Visions for Jewish Healing, whose goal is to create a sea change in how the Jewish community responds to divorce.
Deborah is currently on the Board of Directors of The JWeekly. She is the mother of two beloved adult sons.
